STEVE, at the age of 32, has been entertaining audiences professionally, around S.E Queensland, for over ten years now (Solo and as part of Duo’s and Bands) – His extremely large and varied repertoire ensures that all audiences will hear music to suit their tastes (From Folk, Celtic & Country through Ballads & Blues to Rock’n’Roll & Modern Pub Rock including some Comedy & Original material).
Born visually impaired, his love of all types of music has led to his becoming the accomplished Guitarist / Vocalist that he is now. He plays both ACOUSTIC and ELECTRIC Guitars (Rythmn and Lead) also occasional Harmonica, using both Synthesised (or Pre-Recorded) Backing, where appropriate. He receives many comments on the superb quality of his vocals, and excellence of his guitar work. The style of entertainment can be varied from a simple ‘Acoustic’ type of show (suitable for restaurants etc:) to a ‘Full-On-Rock’ type show to keep the wildest ‘Party Goers’ dancing. The quality P.A. equipment is suitable for Small, Large and even Outdoor Venues – and a good ‘Full’ sound is always achieved.
REQUESTS are always welcomed – His repertoire is so extensive and varied that, in most cases, he can probably accommodate around Eight out of Ten requests – or find a similar song to suit. Steve does not stick to any set programmes but is constantly varying the content to suit audience reaction, and venue requirements – this also ensures good variety and that no two shows sound the same.
Steve has played many of the Pubs, Clubs and other venues around S.E Queensland including having had several Long term residencies. He has won many awards – released an album, under contract – undertaken several overseas tours – and performs at many Australian venues, mainly around Brisbane, but also from far north Queensland to far western New South Wales and South to Sydney. He is also recording and producing albums and demo’s for other artists in his own studio.
