Greetings and salutations from the world’s greatest covers band, Stiffler’s Mum – a four piece of Australia’s finest. After a chance meeting at the Boston festival these four guys became mates and bribed their way into a few premiere Boston live venues, recording several promotional tracks. They returned to Australia and have instantly impressed. Whether it’s a birthday party, wedding, night of debauchery or ceremonial sacrifice, Stiffler’s Mum guarantees to provide good music, fun and friendly, comfortable intimacy.

Matt (Bass/Vocals): Matt was found in one of Tibet’s finest Monasteries. Due to a wrong turn in Albuquerque he wound up in Brisbane and joined Stiffler’s Mum. Matt has been playing for 10 years and has played for some mainstream artists including Skeet Butler and the Whipped Kittens, Four Play and The Gotham City Horns.

Jason (Vocals/Guitar): Despite acute Tourette’s syndrome and an uncontrollable urge to mime at inopportune moments, Jason has established himself as a singer-songwriter, whose band’s original tracks made it to commercial radio and Rage. He’s supported Pete Murray, The Androids and Evermore, and played at the NEMO and FUSE festivals.

Tim (Percussion): Tim’s dream to become a professional musician came crashing to the ground when he discovered he was suited to drums. He has since found religion in a kick drum and his artistic view of rhythm echoes with divine clarity throughout south east Queensland. Tim runs a successful silicon plant in Los Angeles.

Shane (Guitar/Vocals): In a world gone mad, Shane was the mayor for two terms until he met music. Shane has played guitar for 18 years and toured with such performers as The Screaming Jets, The Choir Boys and The Models in very successful original and cover bands. Shane was once sponsored by Stan’s Pies and has a large 75 watt light bulb collection.
